“
Texture and Light” is a motion picture work for GROV PRODUCTIONS
web release 2019.
What you see is an investigative videoessay giving a notion of &#38;nbsp; GROV PRODUCTIONS.
How can one present an intimate space between consciousness and reality, the verge between awareness and void ?&#38;nbsp;

		<description>ON THE TOPIC :
GROV PRODUCTIONSDancer &#38;amp; Creator -
Brita Grov

Sudden and Slow,&#38;nbsp;yet Intense with
a notion of voidThe first encounter was an intense and strikingly fierce energy. Her movements where swift but strong, like the aftermath of a storm. One could imagine her swaying with bold movements on a slippery cliff next to the turmoil of the ocean.
 - “ Sudden and slow, yet intense with a notion of void. “The work of Brita Grov &#38;nbsp;- Grov Productions is investigative and intuitive.

Her unique musicality and rythm gives a special character to the work. The dynamic shifts along with steady, repetative transitions are often as dramatic as her birthplace.

Brita Grov is originally from Stord, an island in the outskirts of the western Norwegian archipelago. Grov is her surname and also her birthplace.A strip of land next to a high mountain and a deep fjord. The scene is as great as it sounds. Piercing into the fjord one can glimpse a snowcovered blue glacier in the horizon. One would most certainly say this has it´s edge and influence.
Following the development of her work is indeed inspiring and will certainly be a journey to behold!

A solo about the seen and the unseen — about wanting to be seen, and not wanting to be seen. Through movement and rhythm, it explores power, vulnerability, play, and ego. Inspired by experiences with type 1 diabetes and PCOS, the work unveils a silent strength beneath the surface.

Choreographer: Brita GrovDancers: Robyn Holder, Roskva Yasmin Andersen, Sara Røisland Torsvik, Sophie Thorpe, Simona Kortenhaus. (Hazel Firth, Georgia Heighway, Samantha Furnival, Lucia Chocarro).

An Effort to Define the Undefinable Woman (AEtDtUW)

‘Kvinnereller’ is with their performance investigating what can characterise a woman, whether this is at all possible. Dancers: Rob Ferguson,&#38;nbsp;Sara Røisland Torsvik &#38;amp;&#38;nbsp;Simona Kortenhaus
